Hello and welcome! I’m Leslie Bumpas, founder of Redeeming Wellness.
I call Dallas, Texas my home; I live there with my husband, and I have two beautiful, grown children. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, travel, dance and exercise. My husband and I love to cook and explore new cuisine in the kitchen.
But what I really want to share is this:
At 61 years old, I feel as energetic as I did at 25! (No lie!)
But like many of you, I was raised eating the typical SAD diet of processed and sugary foods. You know what I’m talking about…Frosted Flakes and sugary juices for breakfast; white bread deli meat sandwiches with chips for lunch; and a Ding Dong or other Hostess “delicacy” for dessert!
If I’d stayed on that path, I can tell you this with confidence...
There is NO WAY I’d feel as good as I do today.
Deep in my heart, I always longed to heal people. In fact, when I was young, I wanted to be a doctor. For many years, I was pulled in a different direction, and I made successful careers in both landscape design and corporate marketing and sales.
But when my kiddos went off to school, I decided to finally follow my passion: nutrition and wellness. I currently work in a field that I love as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner™ certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association™.
Today, I work with clients like you to help them navigate the confusing minefield of nutritional information.
In my work, I emphasize the importance of bio-individuality and nutrient-dense food. I support your specific nutritional needs and provide a blueprint to long-lasting wellness.
There’s no reason you can’t feel as vibrant and alive as you did in your youth. It would be my honor to work with you to get on the path to health.

What Is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy works on healing from the ground up—or from the inside out!
Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (NTPs) focus on supporting your core organ systems to help strengthen your entire body, generally starting with digestion and blood sugar handling.
Nutritional therapy addresses the root of your nagging health challenges—challenges that often allude even the most competent MDs. The most common issues addressed via nutritional therapy are unexplained fatigue, hormone imbalances, autoimmune issues, weight loss, diabetes, and digestive disorders.
NTPs use various diagnostic tools and techniques to assess and address nutritional imbalances within the body and are trained to support and work alongside other doctors and healthcare professionals to aid in the restoration of balance in your body and achievement of optimal health.
Nutritional Therapy is not covered by medical insurance and it is a health investment. Some clients may find that they are able to use their FSA or HSA if the primary care provider prescribes the services. It is up to the client to check with their insurance provider prior to services rendered.
